Hi my little lovelies

It is with a somewhat heavy heart that I have to make this announcement. Due to ongoing severe health issues, which I have struggled with for the past 3-4 years, I have decided to end my journey with WakentheDead Photography.

At best my ability to shoot and process images had become very erratic and not only was this affecting my work, but it was making me very ill also. Things have now come to a point where I can no longer keep up as my health issues are now serious and I have had to make the hard decision to walk away from something I love very dearly in order to concentrate on my health.

It has been an amazing experience. I met some amazing people, worked with fantastic models and found friends amongst the finest photographers in the land. I apologise right now for not being in touch for a few months but I have been in and out of hospital, having tests, being poked and proded and generally feeling ill and unable to even communicate with the world.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me, modelled for me, worked with me on projects, bought my artwork, and inspired me. You are the greatest of people and I will be eternally thankful.

Now I plan to slip into retirement quietly - all wakenthedead sites shall remain open for people to view what once was, but I will no longer be maintaining them or be contactable through them.

Thanks so much for the ride, it's been a blast.
